Grounded in Kathmandu’s unique historical standpoint as a hub along various trade routes, Garden of Six Seasons is an anthology that explores the evolution of image- and object-making lineages, ancestral cultural practices, and indigenous technologies of Nepal, drawing parallels between mainstream historical narratives contemporary practice, and bringing to light marginalized cultural voices and histories.
