Shipping & Delivery
What are the Hong Kong delivery options and fees? Hong Kong orders can be delivered to SF Locker / SF Store or by door-to-door delivery. Free shipping starts from HK$399 for eligible SF self-pickup, or HK$599 for door-to-door delivery.
Short answer: SF Locker / SF Store is free for orders of HK$399 or above. Door-to-door delivery is free for orders of HK$599 or above.

Eligible SF self-pickup points include SF Stores and Lockers, but exclude petrol / gas stations, 7-Eleven, Circle K and SF Service Partner locations.
How long does dispatch and delivery take? Usually 1–3 working days for dispatch, then another 1–2 working days for Hong Kong delivery after dispatch.
Short answer: Orders usually take 1–3 working days to dispatch, plus another 1–2 working days for delivery after dispatch.
Dispatch is not arranged on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. During busy periods such as promotions, dispatch and delivery may take longer.

How do I track my shipment? You will receive tracking information by email after your order is dispatched.
Short answer: We will email you the tracking information after dispatch.
You can click the tracking number in the email to check shipment status. Registered members may also log in to My Account to check order status.
Courier tracking may not appear immediately. Please allow time for the courier system to update after dispatch.
What should I know before using SF Locker / SF Store? Please install the SFHK App to receive pickup notifications. SF has stopped sending pickup codes by SMS.
Short answer: Please download the SFHK App to receive pickup notifications. SF has stopped using SMS to send self-pickup codes.
- SF Express may charge the receiver a retention fee for late pickup.
- Extra fees may apply if the phone number, pickup point or delivery address changes after dispatch.
- BuyBookBook is not responsible for extra fees caused after the parcel has been dispatched.
Do you ship to Macau or internationally? Yes. Macau orders over HK$799 qualify for free shipping. International shipping cost and estimated delivery time are calculated at checkout.
Macau: Orders of HK$799 or above qualify for free shipping. Orders below HK$799 will have shipping calculated at checkout. Macau delivery usually takes 2–5 working days.
International: Please select “Ship” at checkout. Shipping cost and estimated delivery time will be calculated once the destination and delivery service are selected.
For Macau orders, the receiver must provide full name for customs clearance. Orders containing pre-order items will be shipped in one shipment once all items are available.
Will there be extra fees for re-delivery, address changes or late pickup? Extra fees may be charged by the courier or SF Express after the parcel is dispatched.
Short answer: Yes, extra fees may apply after dispatch.
The courier may charge the receiver for re-delivery, address or phone number changes, late pickup, returned parcels, or pickup location changes. BuyBookBook is not responsible for courier charges caused after dispatch.
Store Pickup
Can I pick up my order at the store? Yes. Select “Pick up” at checkout and wait for the pickup notification email before visiting the store.
Short answer: Yes. Choose “Pick up” when placing your order.
We will email you once your books are ready for collection. Please collect your order within 7 working days of receiving the pickup notification, during business hours.
Can I arrange my own courier to collect my order? Yes. Select “Pick up” at checkout, then arrange your courier after receiving the pickup notification.
Short answer: Yes, but the system does not support freight-collect shipping directly.
If you wish to use your own courier, select “Pick up” at checkout. After you receive the pickup notification, arrange your courier to collect the order from the store during business hours.
Please write the order number on the waybill and remind the courier to bring their own mailing bag or box. Store pickup orders are not packaged.
Can we meet at an MTR station, car park or another location? Sorry, no. Orders can only be collected at the store or shipped by courier.
Short answer: Sorry, we are unable to meet at MTR stations, car parks or other locations.
BuyBookBook currently provides store pickup and courier delivery only.
Where is the store and what are the opening hours? The store is in Hung Hom, near Whampoa Station Exit A. Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 1:00 PM–7:00 PM.
Address: Unit 31, 5/F, Block B, Focal Industrial Centre, 21 Man Lok Street, Hung Hom, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
By MTR: Whampoa Station Exit A.
Business hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Closed on Sunday and Monday.
The Hung Hom showroom is mainly for pickup orders. BuyBookBook has more than 20,000 in-stock titles, but less than 2% can be displayed in the showroom, so browsing and ordering online is recommended.
Is there car parking at the building? Yes. Parking is available in the same building if you inform security you are visiting BuyBookBook at Unit 31, Block B.

Please inform the security staff that you are going to BuyBookBook at Unit 31, Block B.
Parking charge: HK$20 for the first 30 minutes and HK$20 for the next 30 minutes; then HK$40 for each following hour.
Orders & Pre-orders
Can I place an order via WhatsApp, email or social media? No. Please place orders directly on buybookbook.com to ensure accurate order details and inventory management.
Short answer: Sorry, orders cannot be placed via WhatsApp, email or social media.
Please place your order directly on BuyBookBook.com so that item details, stock status, payment and delivery information are recorded correctly.
What happens if my order includes both in-stock and pre-order items? For Hong Kong orders, BuyBookBook may ship the order in two shipments: in-stock items first, then pre-order items once available.
Short answer: Hong Kong orders containing both in-stock and pre-order items may be split into two shipments.
In-stock items may be shipped first. All pre-order items will then be shipped once available. Orders containing pre-order items will not be split into more than two shipments.
Macau orders are shipped in one shipment only once all items are available.
How do I leave special instructions for my order? Go to Cart → View Cart, write your note in the special instructions area, then click Save.
Short answer: Add your note in the special instructions area before checkout.
- Click “Cart” at the top right.
- Click “View Cart”.
- Write your special instructions in the note area.
- Click “Save”.
Examples include requesting an official receipt or leaving a note about collection. If you forgot to leave instructions, please contact us immediately after the order is confirmed.
Can I cancel or modify an order? Confirmed orders generally cannot be cancelled. Modification requests must be made before dispatch.
Short answer: Once an order is confirmed, it generally cannot be cancelled. Pre-ordered items cannot be cancelled.
If you need to modify an order, please contact customer service before the order is dispatched. If an order is cancelled before dispatch for personal reasons, refunds may be issued as store credit; refund to the original payment account may incur a transaction fee.
Payment & Vouchers
What online payment methods are accepted? Online payment methods include credit card, PayPal and QF Pay options such as PayMe, FPS and WeChat Pay.

What payment methods are accepted at the physical store? The store accepts Visa, Master, PayMe, Octopus, Alipay, WeChat Pay and cash.

Please show any discount code or gift card to staff before payment if you are using it in store.
How do I use a discount code or gift card? Enter the discount code or gift card code during checkout, or show it to staff before payment in store.
Online: After clicking “Checkout”, enter your discount code or gift card code in the discount / gift card field.
In store: Please show the code to staff before payment.
Only one discount code can be used at one time. Multiple gift cards can be used at the same time. Discount codes and gift cards can be used together.
School Orders
How can a school request a quotation? Schools can use Auto School Quotation or Ask for Quotation from the School menu.
Short answer: Schools can submit quotation requests online.
Use Auto School Quotation for supported book lists, or Ask for Quotation for custom enquiries.
Can schools ask about book fairs or bulk orders? Yes. Use the Book Fair Inquiry page or contact BuyBookBook with your school order details.
