Description
A teen must solve her own murder before the killer strikes again in this harrowing first book in the Remember Me young adult paranormal thriller trilogy by bestselling author Christopher Pike.
As last nights on earth go, Shari Cooper’s left a lot to be desired. Not only did she have to go to Beth’s birthday party—the not-quite-a-friend who’d been flirting with Shari’s boyfriend, Dan—she had to pretend it didn’t bother her when Dan gave Beth earrings as a gift. Then Shari got insulted by Beth’s boyfriend, found out for sure Beth and Dan were cheating, and had to bail on a spooky party game that got too real. Falling off the balcony and plummeting four stories to her death was just the icing on the cake, really.
She may be dead, but Shari isn’t ready to move on. The police rule her death a suicide, but she knows she was murdered—and if the cops won’t find her killer among the friends and traitors at that party, she will.
To investigate, Shari spies on her friends and even enters their dreams. There, she comes face to face with a nightmare from beyond the grave…the Shadow. The Shadow is even more horrible than death itself, but Shari must face it to uncover the truth about her death and prevent her murderer from killing again.
