Mixing shadow puppetry, photographic slides, video, architectural models, and spoken word, Khadija von Zinnenburg Carroll's performance Men in Waiting presents the effects of indeterminate detention, bureaucratic indifference, and banality on the subjectivity of the incarcerated.
