Description

Author: Lai Ho (厲河)  |  Illustrator: Yu Yuen Wong (余遠鍠)  |  English Translator: Maria Kan

While they were at the circus, Holmes and his group of four witnessed a trapeze performance. Coincidentally, another trapeze artist named Colin also fell during his performance not long ago and had been in a coma ever since. Feeling suspicious about the two similar accident, our great detective conducted an investigation and discovered that Orlando might have been poisoned and the prime suspect was the victim’s own sister named Alma!

As it turned out Alma and the comatose Colin were actually a couple who grew up together, and Orlando was the one caused Colin's accident in order to break up the couple.  However, just when the police were about to charge Alma for killing her own brother, someone else at the circus tried to abscond, yet the same absconder willingly confessed to the murder as soon as he was caught.

Even more bizarre was when Alma and the absconder were both eagerly trying to take the blame, another man turned up at the police station and claimed he was the real killer.  One man was killed and three different individuals had stepped up and confessed to the murder.  Why were they so keen on taking the blame? How would Holmes manage to solve the mystery behind this murder case?
